What is the focus?
At this age, puppies are not developmentally ready for corrections or intense distractions. Our goal is to create early confidence through repetition, structure, and a nurturing environment.
- Promote emotional stability and routine
- Build trust with food, toys, praise, and clicker conditioning
- Exposure to household settings, people, and neutral dogs
- We wish to make the dog “operant conditioned” , i.e Clicker Training Ready
Worked Behaviors
- Housebreaking and crate training (home and car)
- Socialization in public places
- Leash walking basics
- Basic commands (sit, down, recall) in distraction-free settings
- Clicker introduction and food/toy drive shaping
Program Length: 3-week board and train
Cost: $1,800 — 10% discount if puppy purchased from Von Gonta Haus
Optional: Add 1 extra week for $600
Includes: Handler class on pickup day
Payment Terms:
50% down when Dog Begins,
Balance paid on Pick Up Day.
